Cineplex has announced that they’ll be releasing a free “Cineplex Mobile App” tomorrow. This will initially be available on Blackberry, iPhone and iPod Touch. Then on December 1st it’ll make it’s way to Android devices and finally completing the circle with the iPad on December 15th.
The app will be available in both English and French and you can find out the latest movies and showtimes, theatre locations with maps and contact info, ability to watch trailers, buy tickets (via PayPal) and get the latest movie news and promos. Taking a look at the screeshots for the iPhone app it looks really sharp… the only feature that’s basically missing is the ability to watch movies via your device… like Netflix.
Update: Looks like the BlackBerry app is now available
