Halifax-based TetherBerry is expanding and re-branding themselves as “Tether”. In the past 9 months their app has been installed on over 60,000 BlackBerry devices (now officially accepted into AppWorld) and the reason for the name change is because they’re accepting beta testers for their Android version.
To celebrate all this goodness Tether is offering 50% off until January 11th… so this can be yours for $26.25. Good deal. Tether describes the app as “Tether is an application that allows your PC to take advantage of your Blackberry Smartphone’s data plan, allowing you to access the Internet on your laptop anywhere there is cellular coverage from your Blackberry”.
