For those wanting to get the latest Apple iPhone you’re more than familiar with ordering and calling up Rogers/Fido to find out where you stand in the back order cue. We are also familiar with hearing that “Demand for the iPhone 3GS in Canada has been very strong and we’re working with Apple to get a 3GS to every Canadian who wants one.”
If you can’t wait to get it through Rogers or Fido, you can always go to your local Apple Store, they have some in stock but you’ll have to buy it outright. With Bell (we hear a December launch) and TELUS rumoured to be bringing on the iPhone, Kevin Restivo, senior analyst for mobility at IDC Canada said “Rogers can’t be thrilled about the supply situation.”
