Here’s something for all the 7.36 million TELUS subscribers. Apparently the wireless carrier is on the cusp of releasing a new self-serve app called “TELUS Your Account.” From what we hear this will allow customers to manage their account on the go at any time. As you can see on the above images you’ll be able to check your usage, monitor and pay your bill, look to see who’s on your favourite number list, plus directly call TELUS support from within the app.
The app will be available for Android, iPhone and BlackBerry users, for both postpaid and prepaid customers. No word on if/when a Windows Phone app will be released, however, we reached out to TELUS for more insight and they said the app will be “coming soon.” TELUS also noted that all data used while within the app will not be charged to your account, and that the app also works outside of Canada.
