Google Assistant now features Star Wars easter eggs, including an answer to who shot first

Google Pixel Assistant

Amazon Alexa is currently offering a number of ‘Star Wars Day’ features, and now, Google also wants in on the May the 4th fun with its Assistant.

For Star Wars Day, Google has prepared a handful of fun responses to Star Wars-related questions, such as ‘Hey, Google, who shot first?’ for those looking to see what Assistant has to say about the infamous Han Solo/Greedo face-off in A New Hope.

Interestingly, Google Assistant can even be told to speak like Yoda, backwards syntax and all.

It’s worth noting that the ability to purchase movie tickets was also added to Assistant today, including those for May 25th’s Solo: A Star Wars Story, but the feature is only available in the U.S. through American service Fandango.

Currently, there isn’t any Canadian alternative offered with Assistant through national theatre giant Cineplex.

Presumably, there are more easter eggs hidden in Assistant, so if you find any more yourself, let us know in the comments!
