Samsung offering $500 off 2016 4K SUHD TV for anyone willing to trade in their old set

For viewers who are more than ready to see the world in 4K, Samsung is offering $500 off the price off a new 2016 4K SUHD TV when they trade in their old set.

$500 off a Samsung SUHD 4K TV that typically costs somewhere between $1700 and $4000 doesn’t exactly make these high-end televisions affordable. Still, it’s an added incentive for those who are eager to experience the future of TV viewing quality.

The offer began May 6th and is valid until June 9 at certain participating retailers. MobileSyrup has reached out Samsung for information on which stores will be participating.

Samsung states that the TV brought in for trade can be of any brand and size, though the company does not specify the age of TV it will accept. It won’t accept more than one trade-in TV per purchase.

Another offer not to overlook: in partnership with Bell, Samsung is offering a free Gear VR headset with the purchase of an S7 on a two-year contract. This promotion is valid until May 15th.

Update: In an internal email received by MobileSyrup it appears The Source is on the list of participating retail stores and that the following models of TV are eligible for the offer: the curved 78-inch KS9800; the curved 65-inch, 55-inch and 49-inch KS8500s; the curved 78-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch KS9500s; the 65-inch and 55-inch KS9000s, and the 65-inch, 60-inch, 55-inch and 49-inch KS8000s.
