Microsoft Lumia 640 coming soon to Canada

The Microsoft Lumia 640 was officially unveiled during Mobile World Congress last month and it seems the Windows Phone device is coming to Canada. Announced on Twitter, Lumia Canada, formerly known as Nokia Canada, stated “New season, new colors, new Lumia. Lumia640 Coming Soon.”

As for specs, the Lumia 640 has a 5-inch 720p display with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 8MP camera, a 1MP front-facing camera, and a 2500mAh battery. While the Lumia 640 runs Windows 8.1, Microsoft noted during its MWC presentation that it’s eligible for Windows 10 upgrade, which is coming this summer.

Unfortunately, no carrier partners, colours, or price points were made public, but it’s expected this entry-level phone could be available between $150 – $200 no-term.
