BlackBerry released a $999 black and gold Passport last week. This limited edition device had a production run of only 50 units, selling out almost immediately. The design is similar to the original Passport, not the AT&T version, and its frets and frame are outfitted with gold. This limited edition Passport also comes with a specialty case that’s made from a “soft calf leather with Valextra ‘costa’ lacquered piping.”
The gold and black Passport has started to arrive to those lucky enough to purchased one. Below are a few pictures and each device has the unit number etched on the right hand side.
