Public Mobile to launch a new $30/month Unlimited talk, text and data plan promo

Public Mobile will be launching the Android 2.3 powered ZTE N762 and the “Max” soon, but in order to get data on these devices you’ll need to sign up for their new 3G plan. This will be officially announced over the next few days and for $45/month it’ll give you Unlimited talk, text and data – plus the usual Canadian, U.S. and International text messaging, caller display, call waiting, call forwarding, 3-way calling and VM. Good deal, but not great. According to this internal doc Public says they will be celebrating their Android release by cutting the price down to $30/month for 6-months. Apparently this will be on sale until January 31st. Sub $200 Android phones, plus a $30/month plan is something to consider.

(Thanks tipster!)
