TELUS to release the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Curve 9360 in White

How is this even news? Every Blackberry is the same. It’s shocking how many i****s actually look at the above lineup and think it’s so varied. One is a touchscreen, one is touchscreen with a slide-out keyboard, and the rest are virtually identical.

“Oooh it’s in white now. I have to get it. This clunky circa 2004 software will just SHINE within a white shell.”

The same exact thing can be said about Apple. They made 5 iphone’s. iPhone 2G / 3G / 3GS look the same exact thing. iPhone 4 / 4S are the same exact design as well. See my point? Do not b***h about Rim when Apple is doing the same exact thing.

RIM has a decent OS. Have you looked at Apple lately? They need to send out 5.0.1 for the battery issues & the Name display issue everyone is having on the iPhone 4S.

I do not hate Apple nor Rim nor Android but every manufacturer has its own problems Tho Apple tends to do what RIM is doing & releasing the same exact design of phones.

Same goes for Apple. They made 5 iPhone models. 2G / 3G / 3GS are all the same design but with different hardware. iPhone 4 / 4S have the same design as well & they only changed the hardware. See my point?. HTC does the same as well.

Do not forget also Apple has had the same 3.5″ display since 2007. They only got Retina display last year but as a company that makes billions they could have changed the screen size just a bit. Apple also Took almost a year to release a white version of the iPhone 4. Not bashing Apple but i am showing you how its not only RIM doing this.

      A HA HA HA!
      A HA HA HA!

    • Dimitri K.

@DUD. Sir are you blind? Did not say HTC in there in which uses Android?… No i actually use a blackberry for work & my Sony Ericsson for person use. I do not care about flash since i never use it on a mobile phone… Please get out of the thread if you have nothing to say & troll somewhere else.

A lot of people don’t seem to understand why there is such a huge variety on Blackberry models and colors.. Well if you ever get a job at a Cellular Retail store you’ll realize..

It may seem that there are no differences but in the minds of consumers there will always be something even if it’s the smallest thing in the world it’ll make a person go crazy over.

RIM used to do so well.. And they still can they just have to listen to the public.

Fair enough, but pink is the only colour that shows RIM’s unique edge. No pink iPhone, Nexus S or Samsung Galaxy S II, but a pink BlackBerry Curve, now that’s unique. Apple has yet to release a (PRODUCT) RED iPhone.

This black and white game is just another way for RIM to say “me too!” as it tries to resemble its competitors. But RIM should be unique instead of just imitating.

  • Alex Perrier

[Insert carrier here] to insert the [insert BlackBerry 7 phones that will be obsolete soon] in white.

    • Alex Perrier

*to release the* is what i meant to say in between the two bracketed statements.

Out of all the things customers could want, the white colour instead of the black colour is a LOW priority. We’re not buying bread, clothing or eggs here. 🙁

Plus, how do you earn tokens? 😉

No more Gmail for BBs, Analyst downgrade RIM, Stock at another 52week low at $18.10……and they release their hardware in White!

Wait for the Q3 report on Dec and they will release them in RED, Wait for January and they will release them in “Maple leaf edition” hey its only 7 months late but its RIM, so you should be used to it; Come February expect the “BB 9900 Zombie edition” and the stock at $10 or less….

For RIM the future is gRIM…with a touch of white!

Do people still buy blackberries nowadays?
