Dbrand drops new MNML accessory line that’s ‘nothing fancy’

The new phone cases have a nice texture, a few colours, and are thin and tough

Toronto-based smartphone accessory maker Dbrand launched a whole new line of cases dubbed ‘MNML’ offering slim, sleek protection for your gadgets.

The new line of MNML (pronounced ‘minimal’) cases are available now on the Dbrand website globally, while U.S. customers can also get them at Best Buy locations. (However, that might change in the future!)

Currently, the MNML cases come in four colours intended to match the options of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro line. There’s black, navy, beige, and a dark reddish/purplish shade similar to the rumoured ‘dark cherry’ iPhone colour.

Dbrand touts the MNML case as being “pretty tough” while being thin and sporting a nice texture. It’s also got strong magnets for MagSafe accessories.

Speaking of which, Dbrand also launched matching magnetic wallet accessories, including a slim wallet and one that doubles as a kickstand. There’s also a variant of the MNML case for AirPods.

All told, the MNML case is pretty nice overall. I tried out the MNML case for the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and as Dbrand said, the texture feels great. It feels grippy while looking pretty sleek, and I appreciate that the case wraps around the Pixel’s camera bar for added protection. The MNML case isn’t quite as thin as I’d hoped, but it is still on the thinner side for cases without sacrificing protection.

Dbrand has the MNML cases available for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max and up, including the upcoming 18 Pro series. It’s also available for the Galaxy S25 and S26 Ultra, Pixel 10 Pro and 11 Pro, and AirPods Pro 2 and 3.

The MNML phone case retails for US$39.95 (about C$55.10), as does the kickstand wallet. However, the slim wallet and AirPods cases cost $US29.95 (about C$41.31). Customers can save by bundling the MNML cases and accessories. Learn more on Dbrand’s website.
