Today marks the release of the 1000th issue of Action Comics, which celebrates 80 years of iconic DC Comics superhero Superman.
To celebrate the monumental occasion, Snapchat has rolled out Superman-themed filters to all users.
Now, you’ll be able to apply lenses inspired by Superman’s iconic suit, signature hair (spit curl and all) and heat vision.
A 3D Bitmoji lens, meanwhile, will insert an image of Superman saving you from a burning building into the real world.
Finally, six new Superman-themed stickers have been added to Snapchat.
Superman was created by Cleveland high school students Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster (who was born in Toronto) and made his first appearance in 1938’s Action Comics #1.
