The lowest price for an unlocked Priv in Canada was $749 from BlackBerry’s online store. Amazon’s recent Prime Day also dropped the first Android-powered BlackBerry down a few bucks, but all the inventory was snatched up. Today, for a limited time, eBay seller “wireless.canada” has posted a heavy discount on the Priv.
For those interested, the cost of the 32GB BlackBerry Priv is $474.99, which is represents a 44% discount off its original retail price.
If this is not for you, BlackBerry is expected to unveil two new Android devices in the coming months. CEO John Chen recently stated he plans to reveal details sometime this month, noting, “I was thinking about doing that more in July timeframe. I have spoken about having two of them in between now and the end of this fiscal year, and they usually they both of them more in the mid range and mid to high, not going to be a high end phone,” said Chen.
