OnePlus One users are currently being tortured with promises of Lollipop from all directions. The maker of the phone has been working on its own custom ROM for months, and just last week gave that software a name. More information on that is coming next week.
Over on Twitter, Cyanogen Inc, the company behind the popular CyanogenMod software and a former OnePlus partner, just revealed that a Lollipop build for the OnePlus One has entered the QA/QE stages and is on track for testing and certification.
Now, OnePlus has returned fire with a teaser video of its own. The company didn’t offer any information except to say Lollipop was coming to the OnePlus One ‘very soon,’ but this looks visually very close to stock Android. Watch below for a very quick tour of Android and a glimpse of that oh-so-fun Lolly Bird easter egg.
