PayPal released an app for BlackBerry 10 devices today, completing its goal to be available on “all major mobile platforms.”
While it’s currently limited to work on three smartphones — BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Classic — PayPal for BlackBerry 10 is similar in design and functionality to its iOS, Android, Firefox and Windows Phone apps. It appears to be a port based on the current Android version. PayPal for BB10 allows users to send and request money, check balance and see your recent activity.
The downside is that PayPal for BlackBerry is only available to those in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, “with more markets to come in the future.”
