Larger capacity iPhones will ship with iWork and iLife apps already installed

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are Apple’s biggest iPhones yet, but they’re not just physically larger than previous generation iPhones. This year, Apple announced a brand new 128 GB model, which pushes the price of the device past $1000 for the first time.

For your troubles, 9to5Mac reports that Apple will be shipping the larger capacity iPhones with iLife and iWork apps already installed. Confirmation comes via an internal Apple training document for the company’s retail staff. This document says iMovie, GarageBand, Keynote, Numbers, and iTunes U will ship pre-installed on the 64 GB and 128 GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. If you purchase the 16 GB model, you can choose to download these apps (for free) from the App Store.
