Rovio, makers of the never-ending Angry Birds, has once again expanded the franchise. Stella is the newest bird to join the coop and will be available soon in the form of “games, animation, toys, books and other retail products for many years to come.”
Rovio says that Stella and her friends, which seem to be created with females in mind, “is all about inspiration, empowerment and other real issues, without forgetting entertainment and quirky fun.” The details are sparse about how the game play is, but it’ll be similar to all the other Angry Bird games on the market and will include parts of the “world we’ve never seen before.” No indication of when Stella will be available or on what mobile platforms.
