Before the Z10 was released BlackBerry was on a mission to bring as many apps as possible to the new BlackBerry World. They encouraged developers through various promotions, namely a limited edition all-touch device, plus an opportunity of scoring $10,000. A few weeks back BlackBerry unveiled the limited edition Z10, showing that it’ll sport the same overall design, but come in red and announcing that only 12,000 are available.
Hamilton-based BlackBerry developer Joey Beechey posted a few pics on Twitter this morning of a nice package that arrived via FedEx – his special edition red BlackBerry Z10. Each of them are numbered, his is 543, and looking very Canadian. The cable charger and headphones are the standard black.
It’ll be interesting to see if one of these will find a home on eBay.
