It’s all been about RIM’s new BlackBerry devices this week – and good for them! We’re hoping the first week of sales will be profitable. Switching gears to Apple’s iPhone 4 is news of a cross-the-board price cut of the 16GB version from $169 to $99 (white of black version). The 32GB will stay the same price at $269. However, this is not a not a permanent drop and the promo starts on August 18th and goes until September 7th. Which is interesting in itself with the possible rumour from earlier today (which some are saying will not happen now).
Apparently we’re told this will be at all carriers. No reasons were stated, but a sign that it’s time to clear old inventory and bring in the new “iPhone 4S/iPhone 5”.
