Rogers customers can watch live Blue Jays games on their mobile, 2011 Rogers Cup tennis coming August 8th


Rogers owns a great deal of stuff – magazines, radio stations, cable network and sports teams. One of their assets is the Toronto Blue Jays and for Rogers customers who are fans of the team will love this news. Live streaming of every Jays game is now exclusively available from your Rogers smartphone through Rogers On Demand Mobile.

The Rogers on Demand Mobile app is a free download for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android users, but to watch anything it’ll cost you $5/month. iPhone and Android users can visit the respected app stores, for BlackBerry users you’ll have to text MyApps to 555 to subscribe. In a press release Rogers stated that “Helping keep Toronto Blue Jays fans connected to the game across the country, Rogers On Demand Online is available to any Rogers Cable, Wireless, Home Phone or Hi Speed Internet customer at no extra charge”.

In addition, Rogers customers will also be able to watch live coverage of the upcoming 2011 Rogers Cup tennis tournament on August 8th. Rogers on Demand is also available for your TV, computer and on tablets.
