Apple recently unveiled the iPhone 16 series, and Genmoji is a significant addition to the company’s batch of AI-related features.
Genmoji works straight from the keyboard. You can provide a quick description to see a preview of your Genmoji and keep adjusting the description until it’s exactly how you like it. You can even make a Genmoji of a friend or yourself from the Photos Library.
Genmoji will launch with Apple Intelligence in Canada in December, alongside iOS 18.2. You can mess around with your settings and get the feature by changing the language to U.S. English, but then you’re stuck with missing ‘u’s in autocorrect. We can also expect Image Playground to launch with this update, which lets you create images based on descriptions.
Other features may include ChatGPT, available through Siri, and hearing protection, available on AirPods Pro 2.
