TELUS users in Kelowna reporting LTE service is live

TELUS has steadily been investing money into expanding their LTE coverage in Vancouver. Since launching the service last February they’ve committed a cool billion dollars into the region and bring LTE speeds to several areas including Abbotsford, Victoria, Whistler, Nanaimo, Kamloops, Kelowna, Vernon and Dawson Creek.

We’ve been getting reports over the past few days that users in Kelowna are receiving live LTE service. Download speeds are ranging from 20 – 32Mbps, with upload clocking in between 6 – 12Mbps. TELUS’ coverage map still show no LTE coverage in the area so they should be going live any day now.
