Apple has quietly jacked up prices for its older iPhone models, the same day it revealed the iPhone 18 Pro series and its iPhone Duo foldable.
As spotted by The Verge, the new prices can be seen on Apple’s website. Here’s what they are for Canada:
- iPhone 16 — starting at $1,149 (previously $1,129)
- iPhone 17e — starting at $999 (previously $899)
- iPhone 17 — starting at $1,299 (previously $1,129)
- iPhone Air — starting at $1,599 (previously $1,449)
It should be noted that Apple just discontinued the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, while the iPhone 16 Pro series is also no longer available. Meanwhile, the 18 Pro and Pro Max start at $1,799 and $1,899, respectively, while the Duo starts at $2,999. The 18 Pro series releases on September 18, while the Duo launches on October 23.
The base iPhone 18 wasn’t revealed today, with reports indicating it will instead debut in early 2027.
