Bell targets some customers with a $40/100GB CAN/US/MEX plan

Bell is targeting some existing customers with a new limited-time BYOD promo of $40/100GB with a year of Perplexity AI for free.

The deal is for $40/100GB with unlimited talk, text, and data in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico with HD streaming capabilities. The email also included a separate deal for $45/100GB, which includes unlimited talk/text to both Canada and the U.S. and SD streaming.

According to users on the RedFlagDeals forum, the telecommunications giant reportedly sent the deals to members of the Exclusive Partner Program (EPP).

Interestingly, one user noted that the same credits were applied to other plans on their EPP portal, including the original $25 EPP credit, a $10 autopay credit, and a separate $25 BYOD credit.

Now, some users are complaining about the $80 connection fee, but others say it’s credited to your next bill.

Honestly, this deal is familiar to Canadian telecom customers, but it is currently slightly cheaper than ones you can get elsewhere. Both Rogers and Telus offer $65/100GB plans (which is $15 more per month), but you have to step up to more expensive plans to get unlimited talk/text and North America-wide usage, rather than just Canada-wide.

The closest deal to this Bell offer is from Freedom, which offers a $59/100GB CAN/US/MEX + Roam Beyond plan, which also nets you 25GB of roaming data with Unlimited talk/text in 120+ destinations. Telus-owned Public Mobile also offers a near-identical plan, just without Freedom’s roaming capabilities.
