Canadian telecommunications giants Telus, Bell, and Rogers earned honours at Opensignal’s 5G Global Mobile Network Experience Awards, not long after Rogers won nine categories in August’s report.

Japanese operator au was named the global leader in terms of 5G Games experience, with Rogers, Bell, and Telus ranking one category behind, being named global leaders. Au was also named global leader in terms of reliability, with a score of 976.1 on a 100-1000 point scale. Rogers, Telus, and Bell also scored within the global leaders category, outperforming major U.S. carriers such as AT&T and Verizon. Rogers scored the highest out of the three Canadian companies, finishing with a score of 961.5. Telus finished one point behind them, while Bell ranked with a 955.2.

Au also won the final category: 5G Voice App Experience. Telus, Rogers, and Bell all scored as global leaders in the category, alongside companies like Vodafone, Telenor, and O2.

In terms of 5G video experience, DIGI, Telenor, Tele2, and DNA were all ranked as global winners, with Rogers being the only Canadian carrier to score within the global leaders section. AT&T managed to score as a Global Rising Star.
