OnePlus has held an AMA on its forums and certain members of the company answered a number questions about OnePlus 6 and the new Bullet Wireless headphones.
The AMA started at 10am EST on Friday and tons of questions were asked and answered.
There was lots of talk about the OnePlus 6 but from what I saw, the Bullets Wireless headphones were stealing a good portion of the show.
One of the first questions asked was if the headphones’ new magnetic pause ability would work on older OnePlus devices. This ability will let the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5t and 5 users connect the backs of their headphones together with magnets to pause the current audio that’s playing.
After that, another question that seemed worthy of an eyebrow raise was when a user named ‘simmybaby’ asked if there would ever be different colours available.
OnePlus didn’t give a straight answer but it did respond by asking what colours the user would want to see in the future. This makes it seem like this is something the company is at the very least thinking about.
Once the conversation shifted back to the OnePlus 6, there were a few interesting tidbits regarding the upcoming smartphone.
It looks like the phone will ship with a clear silicone case in the box. This means that all users will receive a simple case to use on their device right away. This is similar to the case that shipped with the OnePlus 5T as well.
The company also used this as an excuse to give some more justification for adding a notch on the OnePlus 6.
OnePlus has changed the three options on the alert slider to remove ‘do not disturb’ mode.
Some users asked if this change would make its way to older one plus phones and the company said it was something it might look into.
