Following a slew of Google Home updates such as location-based reminders, Bluetooth speaker support, multi-room audio functionality and ‘Routines,’ Bell Media has announced that CTV News, BNN, and TSN Now news updates, are now available those who use the smart speaker.
The service is available across Canada on Google Assistant-enabled smartphones and smart speakers, such as the Google Home and the Google Home Mini. Similar to other news services, the outlets offer breaking news, business reports, and sports stories that are “delivered by recognizable and trusted broadcasters.”
Phrases like, “Hey Google, listen to CTV News,” and “Hey Google, what’s the latest news from TSN?,” are examples of how to activate the new feature.
