It’s worth noting that this might be the last time you’ll be able to purchase NES Classic as Nintendo has decided to halt production for the console.
The ever-elusive Nintendo Switch console will also be on sale today for $399.99 CAD. The Switch will be on sale at approximately 9am PST/ Noon EST, three hours before the NES Classic.
Limited Qty of Switch will be online at approx 9am PST/ Noon EST Friday, April 28th. Stores will have limited qty tomorrow as well.

Best Buy seems to be on a roll as new amiibos for Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta, the last three downloadable characters in Super Smash Bros for the Wii U/ 3DS, will be live for pre-order at noon PST/ 3pm EST, the same time as the NES Classic.

Update 28/04/17: This article has been updated with further details about the availability of the NES Classic. The console can only be purchased online and not in-store according to a tweet from Best Buy Canada’s Twitter.
Update 28/04/17: The NES Classic sold out within 2-minutes. Inventory of all Nintendo Switch consoles sold out within minutes. Corrin, Bayonetta and Cloud amiibos are still available for pre-order.
