Firmware development has begun for the development for the international variant of the Note 8, code named ‘Great,’ according to an unnamed source that spoke with SamMobile.
The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 8 isn’t expected until the end of the year, but if the Note 7 is any indication, it should contain impressive specs. Although the Note 7 was a fiery mess, battery issues aside, it was well-reviewed and had impressive internals.
For the Note 8, Samsung is likely aiming to take what was good about the Note 7 and what is great about the Galaxy S8 and combine them into its next-generation phablet, in order to rise like a phoenix from the flames.
