Google has launched a new section of the Google Play Store where Android users can get one paid Android app free every week.
The company quietly launched the section this past weekend. And while Canadians will be hard pressed to find the section highlighted on the front page of the Google Play Store, they can still pick up this week’s app gratis.
In this case, the first app that’s available for free through the promotion is Card Wars. The game, based on the Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time series, is usually priced at $4.
It’s unclear how long Google plans to keep this promotion running, or if future free apps will be available to Canadians.
