It was just yesterday we saw leaked images of BBC100-1, the latest licensed smartphone to feature the BlackBerry name. A new leak, courtesy of a website called TechieState, alleges the handset will be called BlackBerry Aurora when it’s officially released. TechieState also shared a new leaked press render of the upcoming device.

According to past leaks, Aurora will feature a Snapdragon 425 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 3,000mAh battery. The phone will also support dual SIMs.

It’s unlikely BlackBerry will release the Aurora outside of Indonesia. PT BB Merah Putih, a BlackBerry joint venture with Indonesian telecommunications company PT Tiphone Mobile, designed the device. The joint venture has exclusive Indonesian rights to build and distribute smartphones featuring the BlackBerry brand. Those rights do not extend outside of the Southeast Asian country.
