Reminder, you have until July 29 to upgrade to Windows 10 for free

July 29th marks one full year of Windows 10 and that means Microsoft will soon be pushing out the operating system’s anniversary update, which brings with it new Windows Ink features, and a more power efficient Edge browser that’s finally capable of running extensions.

It also means, however, that the limited time promotion that allowed Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users to update to Windows 10 for free will come to close, at which point users will need to fork over $149 CAD to get the OS. Those who want Windows 10 can download it here until the evening of July 29th, giving them only two days to make the switch and take advantage of a good deal.
