Looking for a way to support and celebrate gay pride all year long?
Twitter and TD Canada Trust have teamed up to provide just that. Just by writing “#ForeverProud” Twitter users can insert a custom circular rainbow emoji, representing year-round LGBT support.
This marks the first time Canada has ever had a custom emoji all its own on Twitter.
“We applaud TD for nurturing the inclusion and diversity conversations that run through Twitter every day,” says Rory Capern, managing director of Twitter Canada.
“It’s important that as an organization, we share in the deep rooted values of key partners like TD. I speak for our entire team in saying that #ForeverProud is a perfect choice as our first ever custom emoji in Canada.”
