Walmart wants to make those rollbacks easier to find with its new shopping assistant.
“Just in time for the important back-to-school shopping season, customers can also access product reviews, items on rollback and a faster check out process, making shopping just that much more efficient. With our new app, shopping online at Walmart has never been easier and faster,” said Rick Neuman, the executive vice president of technology and e-commerce at Walmart Canada, in a statement sent to MobileSyrup.
On Wednesday, Walmart Canada announced the launch of its new shopping app for iOS and Android. With this app, Canadians can save their favourite items, browse weekly flyers, receive notifications whenever prices are rolled back, receive product reviews, and take advantage of the app’s grocery pickup feature.
“We’re always looking for ways to enhance our customers’ shopping experience. The Walmart app saves customers time and money and provides better access to products while at home or on the go,” said Neuman in a statement.
It’s important to note that the grocery pickup feature is only available in Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area. The app is currently available for download on iOS and Android.
