Despite its name, Launchify is not a new Android launcher; instead, it’s something altogether a bit more useful.
The app adds a helpful app shortcut bar to your Android smartphone’s navigation bar and notification screen. The trick here is that while it’s possible to add specific apps to the bar, you probably won’t need to do so. Lauchify populates the bar automatically and changes the selection of available apps depending on the time of day, whether you’re at home or at work and based on if you’re in the car. Inside of the app’s settings menu, the user can add their home and work addresses to assist with its location-based functionality.
Launchify is available for free on the Google Play Store. A modestly priced $2.00 in-app purchase adds the option to add a second row of icons to Launchify’s shortcut bar.
