Wind Mobile is launching a customer new referral program called Refer a Friend. Starting today, current Wind Mobile customers who successfully convince one of their friends or family members to switch to the carrier will receive a $10 account credit — as will the person switching to Wind. For the person referring a person to the carrier, it’s possible to earn up to $120 in account credits by convincing up to 12 people to switch to Wind.
Referrals, which are powered by RewardStream, can be transferred via email, text message as well as Twitter and Facebook.
“We are proud to support WIND Mobile through the launch of their new referral platform,” said Rob Goehring, CEO of RewardStream, the company that’s helping rollout the program, in statement issued to MobileSyrup. “With the referral program, WIND customers can now share their positive experiences with WIND via email, social and from their mobile devices, and WIND can easily track and reward their customers.”

The program is the latest in a series of moves designed to entice customers to join Wind, which has just launched a new set of promo plans for the holidays, or return to it now that reception is considerably improved in many parts of Canada.
