App of the Week: Deliveries for Android

Deliveries

Here’s an app for all the Amazon Prime subscribers out there.

Simple in purpose but excellent in execution, Deliveries, an Android app by one-time developer oRRs, makes it easy to track almost every package that is on its way to your home.

Adding a package delivery is straightforward: you’re asked to assign the delivery a name and input it tracking number and courier. With a seemingly endless number of parcel delivery services supported, there are very few packages Deliveries won’t be able to track for you. In the Canadian content, however, all the main ones are supported, including Canada Post, UPS and Purolator.

Once a package is added, you’ll receive notifications, informing you when there’s an update in their delivery status, and you can even view its journey on a map.

Deliveries is free to download, though it’s supported by in-app ads. A premium subscription removes the ads — and adds several features like new app themes. The subscription can be acquired either through a one-time $7.39 purchase, or paid through reoccurring instalments that cost $0.99 per month and $2.80 per year, respectively.

Download Deliveries from the Google Play Store.
