Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet now available in Canada

A new premium-designed tablet has arrived in Canada today. Confirmed last week, Sony has officially released the Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet. The price point for this WiFi-only tablet is $529.99 and only comes in white.

The Z3 Compact Tablet is waterproof and is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 graphics. It features an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, up to 128GB storage expansion via MicroSD, an 8.1MP camera in the back, a 2.2MP front facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a 4500 mAh battery. In addition, the Z3 Compact Tablet runs Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) and is expected to be upgraded to Lollipop next year.
