BlackBerry Q5 now available in Canada for $350 outright

A new BlackBerry device has arrived on Canadian soil this morning. The BlackBerry Q5 is a QWERTY/Touch BlackBerry 10 powered smartphone and is targeted to feed the desires of the entry-level crowd. The Q5 has somewhat similar design to its bigger brother, the Q10, but comes with a boxier look.

Several carriers will release the Q5 today (Bell, Fido, Koodo, SaskTel, TELUS and Virgin) in both black and white, but Virgin Mobile will have exclusivity on the red version.

TELUS already lists this online for $49 on a 2-year, or $425 outright. Fido is selling the Q5 for $50 on a 2-year and $350 outright. Check out our quick hands-on of the Q5 here.
