    Nice! I always trust random anal-ysts! Woo-Hoo!

Although he’s probably right this time (there was a leaked roadmap stating the same thing), but usually I never trust anything that Peter Misek has to say.

analysts these days fall in two categories: those who state the obvious (in this case, based on the roadmap), others who just flat out lie to move stock price to wtv value they want

Peter Misek is not a random analyst. He is well educated.

    Sure,why not?
I’m not a huge fan of the 4.7+ in. phones but lots of other do ,so again, why not?

    Ooooooooooooooohhhhh sheeeeeeet!

Fingers crossed for a QWERTY phablet!!!

We already saw the blackberry leaked roadmap, we know there is a bigger touchscreen Z10 style device AND a bigger screen Q10 like device as well as another tablet coming in the next 12 months.
A link to your previous article to back this up wouldn’t be so bad..

This isn’t really news, except for the price of the mid-range device. I thought you guys would be posting Misek’s report that Z10 sales are going well and the return rates are normal.

i’m not sure that i would categorize a 5-inch device as a “phablet” in this day and age…regardless, good on you BB for trying to get out of your comfort zone (if this has any truth behind it).

Code name is Aristo right now, it’s basically like a Galaxy Note (apparently).

  • kvankess

This is the z10 2. Yes barely a year between the two but I know this as fact. Enjoy not believing me till it comes out. FYI its not like a Galaxy note, insofar as its a separate line of niche larger devices, but the direction they want to take the z10 line. Cheers

In other news, I recently found two independent retailers (PDA Plaza and TekShop) selling factory unlocked Z10s for less than the carriers. I didn’t expect to see that just yet. It’s really good news, though. Hopefully that will continue with other phones as well so we don’t have to put up with carrier crap, like waiting for them to offer a particular phone, locking phones, offering new phones to new customers only, etc.

    Still not buying one
