BlackBerry released a new build today for iOS users who had signed up for the BBM beta. The beta build adds a number of improvements to core features, such as sticker support in group chats, a better suggestion engine to find BBM friends, and the ability to view timed messages multiple times. BlackBerry is also promoting a more iOS 8-friendly UI with the update, and while the app looks much prettier, the update is more of a palette swap than radical UI change (for example, the app still features both a hamburger and ‘more’ menu buttons).
BlackBerry was offering BBM beta invites for a limited time, so if you didn’t sign up before, you may have to wait a little longer. Hopefully the new feature additions and aesthetic will appear in the public release soon.
