The Nexus 5 is the rumoured next-gen collaboration between Google and LG — heavily leaked, but still rumoured. Dates flying around the internet pegged the official announcement to be October 14th, then 15th, but both those dates have now come and gone.
Enter Nestle. The chocolate and confectionery company recently teamed up with Google to brand the upcoming release of its next Android 4.4 as KitKat. On the KitKat Twitter account today, Nestle left a couple teasers that could point to an October 28th availability. The first Tweet is “Everybody dance now!” by C+C Music Factory, whose original name was The 28th Street Crew. The second Tweet, “Sometimes you have to look for the signs…,” which shows KitKat bars arranged in the words “This Is It.” Some believe this leads towards Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ release date back on October 28th, 2009.
What do you think? Will we see the Nexus 5 and KitKat arrive on Monday, October 28th, 2013?
