The Windows Phone 8X by HTC was officially announced on September 19th. This smartphone was HTC’s contribution to help build up Microsoft’s new, very stylish, Windows Phone OS. The LTE-enabled 8X is a gem of a device as it comes with 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8-16GB versions and an 8MP camera.
On this same day HTC also unveiled the Windows Phone 8S. Bell stepped forward and declared that they would be adding it to their lineup, but for some reason it’s slipped way back behind the curtain and there’s been limited info about its pending release. According to a screenshot we received of Bell’s inventory system it looks like a launch in near. Accessories have started to show up – cases, skins and screen protectors. Unfortunately there’s no word on an exact release, or price points.
