MobileSyrup and Amazon Prime Video are teaming up to give away a special edition Masters of the Universe Amazon Fire TV Stick.
Amazon is celebrating the launch of Masters of the Universe on Prime Video on July 22 by giving away the special edition Fire TV Stick to one lucky Canadian. The special edition includes a VHS-style box and special illustrations by graphic designer Matt Ferguson.
Ferguson is best known for creating awesome alternate movie posters. Prime Video’s special edition Fire TV Stick features Ferguson’s alternate Masters of the Universe poster on the box, along with a custom box blurb like you’d find on old VHS tapes.
As for the Fire TV Stick itself, Prime Video is giving away the HD variant (retail value of $49.99). The Fire TV Stick HD includes the titular stick you plug into your TV and a remote to control it. The device gives access to Amazon’s Fire TV experience with access to popular streaming apps, Alexa features, and more.
Masters of the Universe sees director Travis Knight bring back the legendary franchise in live action. After a 15-year separation, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicholas Galitzine) back to his home of Eternia, shattered under the rule of the fiendish Skeletor (Jared Leto). Adam must join forces with Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba) and embrace his true destiny as He-Man to save his family and world.
