Google will reportedly launch screenless Fitbit Air in coming weeks

Fitbit Premium will reportedly be rebranded as Google Health

Google’s rumoured display-less Fitbit will reportedly be called the Fitbit Air.

NBA player Stephen Curry wore the band in a sponsored Instagram post last month, with sources familiar with the device telling 9to5Google that the band would be called the Fitbit Air.

The Fitbit Air will likely sport a thinner design that lets users wear it all day. The report indicates that the band will use AI features unlocked by Fitbit Premium, which will be rebranded as Google Health.

Additionally, the personal health coach feature that’s currently in public preview will reportedly be renamed as Google Health Coach.

An announcement will reportedly come soon.

It’s interesting that Google is changing its software branding, but continuing with the Fitbit branding for hardware such as the Fitbit Air.
