Telus-owned Public Mobile boosted the data offered on several plans for Cyber Monday. Some plans have as much as 30GB more data than they did for Black Friday. Check out the deals below:
- $45/120GB – 100GB + 20GB bonus data for six months (previously $45/100GB).
- $40/90GB – 70GB + 20GB bonus data for six months (previously $40/60GB).
- $35/40GB – 20GB + 20GB bonus data for six months (previously $35/10GB).
- $30/8GB Canada-wide (unchanged).
- $25/4GB 4G Canada-wide (unchanged).
- $20/1GB 4G Canada-wide (unchanged).
Unless otherwise stated, the above plans include 5G data and Canada/U.S./Mexico calling, texting, and data use.
Notably, the increased data comes largely from a 20GB data bonus Public is offering on select plans. However, that bonus data is set to expire after six months. The expiry on the bonus data does make the deal less sweet, but some of the plans are still decent.
For example, the $45/100GB plan is still solid even without the bonus data, as is the $40/70GB plan. The $35/20GB offer isn’t the best on its own, though it was previously $35/10GB so bonus aside, you are still getting more data with the plan now than before.
All of these Cyber Monday deals are listed as available only on December 1, so if you’re interested in one, you might want to get it today. That said, we’ve seen Public extend deals before, especially if other providers also extend deals, so it remains to be seen what will happen.
