So long, Edge

EB Games Canada is ending its longtime rewards program, ‘Edge.’

Spotted by LBabinz on BlueSky, the Canadian gaming retailer announced that the program would end on November 5, 2026, with the company already planning for a new membership program. The company has already posted a banner on its website noting the discontinuation.

According to LBabinz, the current program being worked on is set to include member-only deal days, ‘first dibs’ on new releases, exclusive collectibles/products, invite-only events and contests, and personalized discounts.

The company also says that all program benefits, including discounts on toys & collectibles, trading cards, Biogenik, and pre-owned items, will officially be discontinued. However, the remaining benefits can still be used online and at all physical locations (including the new concept store in Montreal). There will also be no annual points deductions starting today (November 5, 2025).

Back in May, the gaming retailer made the switch back to the EB Games name from GameStop Canada following the sale of its operations to Stephan Tetrault, the co-owner of McFarlane Toys.

EB Games has not announced a launch date for the new program.
