A housing development in Vancouver is getting the virtual and augmented reality treatment, thanks to Vancouver-based Stambol Studios.
Stambol has created a VR and AR tour of the Park Grand townhomes on Park Drive and Granville Street that will allow potential buyers to visit the development “before construction even begins,” according to an October 30th media release.
Park Grand is a project by Nu Stream Realty Inc. Visitors will be able to view the VR and AR tours at Nu Stream’s Burnaby and Vancouver presentation centres.
“The last few months have been a painstaking process of perfecting every surface, every reflection, and each tiny detail that makes a virtual world come to life,” said Dogu Taskiran, CEO of Stambol Studios, in the same release. “We are perfectionists, so we set the bar at spectacular quality for each of our clients. The Park Grand Home were certainly no exception.”
Potential homeowners will also get a chance to view a physical scale model, as well as printed collateral, through a smartphone or tablet using augmented reality.
“Never before have we been able to offer such high-quality true to life images and renderings for a pre-construction offering,” said Nevin Low, executive president of Nu Stream, in the same release.
Anyone looking for a home version of the VR experience can access a virtual tour on the Park Grand website.
