Desjardins adds fingerprint unlock feature to its Android app

Desjardins has updated its Android app to version 3.7.1 and the new update comes with a much-desired addition — the ability to access the app through fingerprint.

Available to Desjardins customers who are running Android 4.1 and up, the app simply adds a new level of security and gives users another option apart from entering their username and password. Hopefully, this feature will make its way to iOS devices soon.

The additional seems to be a welcomed one as customers have been leaving reviews, noting “Fingerprint is a time saver feature, thank god,” and “the addition of the fingerprint is a very big plus for the application!”
