Sometimes a situation just calls for a sheepish shrug. For example, when your partner asks you if you ate the last piece of cake. Or if your dentist asks you if you’ve been flossing twice daily. Or if your boss asks why your sales numbers aren’t higher.
But how do you communicate that perfect shrug through digital means? According to the internet, this: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
While that undeniably captures the essence of a mild-mannered shrug, there is one issue with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It’s hard to type and constantly copying and pasting it goes against the relaxed, convenience-loving spirit of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
That’s where ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the app comes in. Available for Android, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ is a keyboard addition that you can download to add ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ to any mobile conversation you’re having — and that’s it. Now if only I could find an app for ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), life would be perfect. I will note, however, that if you’re okay with digging through a lot of these kinds of emojis there are options out there such as Donger Keyboard that include the above Lenny Face or Le Face emoji.
